In May, we visited Kyrgyzstan to strengthen our engagement across Central Asia. During the visit, we participated in a series of discussions with partners and stakeholders, explored ongoing and future initiatives, and expanded our regional network. While the meetings covered a range of topics, a key focus moving forward will be on supporting women who use drugs—an area where we see an urgent need for tailored, gender-sensitive approaches. We also had the opportunity to connect with colleagues from the SOLID 1 project, which works to advance social work practices in the region.
